February of 2012 my son and I took a trip to catch a few images of Horsetail Fall. This was one of many excursions that my young aspiring photographer (12) and I have taken but it was our first attempt to catch this special event. The illumination of the fall happens for about one week out of the year, weather and water permitting. I feel extremely fortunately to have experienced this with my son.
