This is a view of Blue Mesa Reservoir in the early hours of the morning. I took this photo a couple of weeks ago when I had gone outside to shovel newly fallen snow from the night before. For a park filled with mesas and sparse vegetation, I feel this photo captures the hidden beauty of the park. Most average visitors don't get this view, but I get to see it every morning and it makes me feel lucky to be alive.
