A picture of my beautiful wife and I on top of La Plata Peak, 14,336 ft above sea level. This peak is one of 54 peaks above 14,000 ft in Colorado, known locally as "14ers". Surrounded by alpine flowers, conifer trees, babbling brooks and majestic peaks, this hike was one of the more spectacular ones in my life.
