This photo was taken near Hemitite Lake. I climbed across a log to try to take some photo's of an Osprey nest. After waiting about an hour, a mother River Otter and four babies appeared. I was so shocked and amazed. They played in the water and on this log for thirty minutes or so. It was one of the most fantastic experiences I have ever had. The mother heard my camera clicking occationally, but in general did not know I was there. The babies never looked up.
