I was prepared -- and lucky. I was photographing snow geese, and some of the birds started to take off. Then more, and more. I had my camera on a tripod, and had been taking photographs with the tree on the left (asymmetrical composition) and geese in the foreground, when nearly all of the geese began taking off. I starting shooting (with my camera) rapidly. This was the best of my photographs.
