This photo was taken just moments after our son and future daughter-in-law became engaged. They were about 13 days into a 23-day rafting trip down the Colorado with a small group of friends from Oregon. They hiked up to Elves Chasm and just before heading back, he took out the engagement ring he'd packed carefully away.
