With the towering cliffs of El Capitan and roaring water of Bridalveil Falls, Yosemite Valley is an awe-inspiring sight. One evening a storm rolled into the valley. The next morning there was a light dusting of snow over the valley and the storm was starting to break. I set up next to the Merced River. The storm was breaking over El Capitan when the sun was rising. The glow of the clouds hanging over the enormous granite cliff gave it a surreal feeling.
