During a late April 2011 overnight stay in Bryce Canyon, the weather went from beautiful to dramatic. After an amazing, clear sky and sunset, storm clouds rolled in and began to dump snow on the area. The temperature plummeted beyond my sleeping bags comfort ratings and I awoke to a strong shiver. To warm up I went out to sunrise point and welcomed the early morning rays as they peaked over the horizon.
