This is a sunrise overlooking the plains to the East of Devils Tower. It's just after 8AM in late September, while I walked in solitude on the path that encircles that grand, natural obelisk. What a wonderful view the Tower awakens to every morning. I'll never forget the joy of that moment, on my way home from a 3 month odyssey out West, and feeling the peace and calm of the vivid colors and scenery run through my veins. Majestic.
