Lassen Volcanic National Park

I'm obviously not a professional photographer. This was more my desperate attempt at capturing an overwhelming feeling. Lassen Volcanic National Park was almost painfully beautiful. That view of the Painted Dunes from the top of Cinder Cone moved me to tears. It very well may have been the most beautiful thing I had ever seen, aside from my newborn nephew. This photograph doesn't do the place justice, but when I look at it, I remember that feeling. The magic.
