I hiked for 5 hours to get to 13,200 ft on Mauna Loa(largest active volcano in the world),then I spent the night under the stars in 40 degree temp in order to get this shot of the sunrise,this photo was take at the trailhead as it reached the summit crater(maka aweo weo crater) oct,15 2012
