I started my hike at 2 a.m. on the coastal plains of the Hawaii volcano national park so that I could take some photo's of the the lava flow with the sun rising in the foreground,it took me two and a half hours of hiking at night in order to get where I needed to be to take my photo's.This photo was taken on the upper coastal plain of the Holei pali on 11-26-2012
