This photo was taken at the top of Half Dome in Yosemite National Park in June, 2012. It took our group six hours to hike up from Yosemite Valley before we scaled to the top of the dome via wire cables.
Physically it was the hardest thing I've ever done, but worth it for the views from the top. Cloud's Rest is visible in the distance. That's my daughter standing on the ledge. The elevation is 8,835 feet.
