Early on a summer morning, my companion and I were driving up the last part of the Mt. Evans road above Summit Lake when we saw this group of Mountain goat youngsters cavorting about, ending up on a rock and seeming to pose briefly for a photo. It was a rare opportunity to see them gathered as a group and holding still for a few seconds before they jumped and pushed each other off the rock.
