I took this photo in Zion national park in the summer of 2012. We took the hiking trail down to the river and while my family explored the surrounding areas I hiked up my pant legs, took off my shoes, and got right in the water with my tripod and camera. I set my camera up in front of the little ledge with my tripod legs submerged about 2 feet. I took a series of half second exposures allowing my camera to catch the movement of the water towards me.
