Each year, Gettysburg comemorates the anniversary of the Gettysburg Address with a parade and in the evening by placing Luminaria on the graves of those who fell during the battle. Simple but so powerful to see. The memorial pictured was dedicated by the state of Minnesota to her fallen soldiers. Also pictured is a close of of the Luminaria and the actual grave markers. The National Cemetery was dedicated on Nov. 19, 1863.
