Sanderlings are such a joy to watch, as their little legs scurry along the ebb and flow of the ocean surf. I was standing on the shore watching this little guy and a companion work their way up the beach as they fed. I tripped the shutter as he was probing the sand with his beak, in search of another morsel. It was a nice, memorable moment from my October vacation of this year.
