Hikers take a break at the top of 11,760' Kearsarge Pass.
The trail to the pass climbs through the John Muir Wilderness in the Inyo National Forest. At the top of the pass you are standing on the edge of the Inyo National Forest looking down at lakes in Kings Canyon National Park.
