The National Parks are a place where a person can escape the pressure of city light pollution, and see the universe from an astronomers perspective. This photos was taken Nov 17 in Joshua Tree NP at the peak of the Leonid meteor shower. This photo shows a Joshua Tree with a Milky Way background. To the far right center a small "star" was captured dropping from the sky.
