Making my way back up the Bright Angel trail on the south rim of the Grand Canyon, I paused to take in the view when I noticed a curious squirrel sitting about five feet from me. I watched him for awhile before slowly reaching for my camera to get this shot. Quickly after, the shutter frightened him and he ran back into the brush.
