Celebrating a glorious dawn at Devils Pass in the Pasayten Wilderness near the border of North Cascades National Park.
I awoke shortly after dawn on the seventh day of a ten day, eighty mile backpacking adventure with the Toutle Lake High School Hiking Club. I climbed out of the fog to the top of a small mountain near the pass and was rewarded with this hundred mile view across a sea of fog.
