"Night at the Cathedral"
Stranded 100 ft. up on a granite ledge with a bear down below in the area, nightfall came. I found myself alone 100 ft. up without anything except a foil emergency blanket & my camera. I hunkered down on the ledge to suffer through 41 deg. temps & all I had on was some pants and a t-shirt. I stayed up all night just watching the stars pass by over the next several hours at Cathedral Peak . Alone, cold, & shivering uncontrollably...I got this shot.
