"The Awakening of the Giants" we woke up at 4.30am, drove 50miles in the desert, climbed up the trailhead to Mesa Arch and waited with another dozen photographers for the sun to rise over Canyonlands National Park, under the arch, lighting it up from under, in vivid red colors. It only lasts a few minutes and we were lucky to witness the most amazing sunrise. The rocks on the left look like giants woken up and yawning at the sun :-)
