This is one of my favorite places in Breckinridge Colorado. It is beautiful all year round. This photo was taken in October, the lakes were already starting to freeze over. What I like about this photo is the broken bridge left in the water. It shows evidence of the use it recieves but also a sense of abandonment, which might happen now because I heard from a local that owns a cabin by Blue Lake, that the government is buying off land and flooding the dam of Blue Lakes.
