Pele's Fury - 12/26/2011
A half mile of the east coast of the Big Island was erupting lava and you could hear the pillow lava underwater popping and cracking underneath. The smell and heat of the lava was unforgettable, the thirty foot deep ocean water was a cool 105 degrees. This picture captures emotion that I felt and was the most amazing, spiritual thing or event I've ever witnessed.
