Dinosaur National Monument is in my opinion of the most beautiful places on earth. It has rocks of every color imaginable, lush valleys, the green river, and plunging cliffs. The Monument offers recreation such as rafting, hiking camping, and swimming. However, I think the most amazing things about Dinosaur National Monument are the petroglyphs , left by the Fremont people- and its dinosaur bone quarry. The ancient history surrounding Dinosaur is what sets it apart from other travel destinations, and makes it an awe inspiring location for vacation.
