Whitetail Doe and Fawn
Although Edwin B. Forsythe National Wildlife Refuge is more kown as a birding destination, it also has a healthy population of Whitetail Deer. The Deer seem to be just as much at home wading in the the the various ponds that predominate this refuge as in the forest.ed areas. It however is rare to see such a young fawn wading, let alone leading the way across Gull Pond.
