This basking alligator drew a crowd of photographers on the Anhinga trail in Everglades National Park. Everyone was jockeying for position to shoot strait down the gator's throat. As I wandered away from the crowd I noticed that the pink in the animals mouth was more pronounce from the side view. This made for a more vivid image!
