After shooting sunrise at point imperial on the north rim of the grand canyon, I headed to cape royal with little doubt of anything to photograph due to the late morning light. Once we arrived, it began raining and it would stop for a brief moment and start up again. After standing at the point a rainbow started to emerge from the bottom of the canyon and worked its way skyward. The light in the canyon was quite impressive as it made the canyon appear as if it was under water.
