This photo was taken of a group of teachers from Colorado and Alaska as we kayaked across Barry Arm in Prince William Sound. The teachers participated in a class, taken through the University of Alaska, Anchorage, that was designed for teachers to bring science curriculum and their love for the outdoors back to the classroom. Teacher learned that as little as 6 % of children ages 9 - 14 spend regular time playing outdoors. The class was as inspiring as it was beautiful.
