On a whim a co-worker and I decided to spend our week off enjoying the outdoors at Big Bend National Park. We were both out of state recent college graduates who had moved for the summer to the Houston Zoo to work as summer camp educators. Traveling to Big Bend has always been on our list of places to see, so we packed up the car, drove clear across the state of Texas and set off for a week of hiking and adventuring. This was the sunset over the Chisos Mountains the night after a huge rainstorm.
