An unsuspected turn down a dirt road led my husband and I to a spectacular discovery. We thought we could climb a few roads and watch the sun setting over the islands of the inside passage, but we were stopped dead in our tracks by the beauty reflecting in and around Pats Lake. Thanks to the great weather, a determined bottle of white wine and a good camera, I was able to capture this amazing view.
