Gooseberry Badlands Scenic Intrepretive Trails, managed by the BLM Worland Field Office, is located 9 miles south of Worland, Wyoming on Highway 433 and then approximately 21 miles west on Highway 431.

Alternating layers of sandstone and mudstone create such specatucular features because they respond differently to the forces of erosion. Along the one mile trail, you will learn about geology, plants and animal life that you will encounter while hiking. Allow one hour for a leisurely hike.
