My wife and I visited Maui in the Spring of 2025. There was heavy cloud cover driving up to the visitors center and summit of Haleakala National Park. As we passed about 8000 ft, we reached the top of the cloud bank and had a beautiful visit to the summit. This is a photo I captured at the crater with the clouds rolling up the crest.
