I took this photo at the end of an 18-mile bike ride between Moose, Wyoming and Jenny Lake in the Tetons. It was more than 100 degrees Fahrenheit outside, and this was my first big outdoors trip since recovering from a few years of severe illness. My friend and I went for this bike ride on our first day in the Park, and it was difficult for me, but getting through it made me feel more like myself again. When we turned around from the extra mile or two we biked in the opposite direction and I came through a bike tunnel to this vista, it felt like the world was full of possibilities again. The rest of the week was full of exploring and vacation. What an incredible area!
