My brother Ron and I drove to Wyoming for one of our rare vacations together. He was an avid fisherman, and I was going for the photos. He indulged me by coming out for a photo shoot at O-dark thirty, on a frigid night, to take pictures of Jenny Lake at the base of the Grand Tetons. I took many pictures, and I asked him to be in one shot. In the end it was my best picture, but I was very thankful later, when he died of cancer in 2023, that I had that picture to remind me of one of our best times together.
