The granaries in Canyonlands National Park are Ancestral Puebloan storage structures that date back to 900–1200 AD. They are often found nestled in rock alcoves, especially along the Aztec Butte Trail. Their stone/mud construction demonstrates ingenuity, but they must be treated with respect because any damage or touching destroys these important cultural sites.
