Let it Snow
I had long hoped to see Yosemite National Park in the snow. Reaching it under the right conditions, however, eluded me for years—until January 2024. That month, the roads remained open, and fresh snow fell as I drove through the park late one afternoon. Everywhere I looked, the landscape had transformed into a winter wonderland.
On a whim, I pulled over, set up my gear along the roadside, and stepped in front of my own lens. With snowflakes drifting down and snow-covered forests behind me, I felt both the solitude and the serenity that Yosemite reveals only in winter.
