Winter Wonderland
I had long hoped to see Yosemite National Park in the snow. Reaching it under the right conditions, however, eluded me for years—until January 2024. That month, the roads remained open, fresh snow fell overnight, and the following morning dawned clear. Wherever I pointed my lens, the scene resembled a classic landscape painting.
On a whim, I stepped in front of my own camera, allowing myself to blend into nature’s masterpiece. As the shutter clicked automatically and I slowly walked toward the lens, I felt both the solitude and the serenity that Yosemite reveals only in winter.
