After Sunset
I had long hoped to see Valley View in winter, especially with the rocks in the river blanketed in fresh snow. Reaching it under the right conditions, however, eluded me for years—until January 2024. That month, the roads remained open, fresh snow fell overnight, and the following morning dawned clear, free of the fog that so often obscures the view. At last, I was able to capture my long-imagined winter scene of Valley View at sunset.
