This photo was taken at Mount Rainier National Park. The day did not start out clear but rather foggy and overcast until noon or 1pm. When the clouds finally lifted it revealed the beautiful mountain with swirl of cloud atop. This photo was taken in August 2025 when I visited Mt Rainier for the 5th time in 4 years; making it my favorite National Park in the PNW. The popular trail I hiked when taken that photo was the Skyline Loop trail.
