I wasn't sure what to expect going through the desert. It felt like it would never end. When we arrived at the parking lot, to the right of the car along a pass was a flowering cactus so bright and pink. I smiled and walked in and down to the caves and remembered, when I come back out, I can find some more blooming cactus. The caves were amazing, hot and weird and worth the drive. I felt like I was in another world. To think underneath a desert with thousands of cactus is a city of underground caves.
