This photo was taken in the Paria Canyon-Vermilion Cliffs Wilderness. I was lucky enough to win the lottery for ‘The Wave’ my first time applying. Walking through millions of years of sandstone felt humbling. Access to protected public lands like this reminds me why preserving these places, and the experiences they offer, matters so deeply.
