The 2023 hurricanes blew some flamingos off course and some landed in the Everglades National Park. My husband and I were lucky to have booked a back country boat ride with the Everglades Institute and when we were kayaking near Cape Sable we came across about 14 flamingos. We stayed for about 5 minutes watching them before we kayaked back to the boat. Ir was an experience I will never forget.
