We decided to drive through this area with hopes of finding some elk. It was a sunset drive through the park. It was beautiful! Towards the end of our drive, we came upon two bucks that were fighting in the road. We stopped and observed for what felt like an hour and at one point there were a few other bucks that arrived and our family witnessed the most incredible battle of elk from the comfort and safety of our car. I pulled out my camera and was able to capture this beautiful elk in between fights. I’ll never forget the sounds of the antlers clanking together and the grunts and bugles. These are magnificent creatures and we were so grateful to have had this experience.
