A summer morning bike ride through Cades Cove in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park turned into a wonderful opportunity to photograph a family of black bears. High in the cherry trees, the bears were busy feeding. This cub carefully worked its way down a branch, pausing just long enough for this moment to be captured.
