A Common Loon takes a peek at the camera on Sawbill Lake in the BWCAW. Loons like this often ingest small pebbles to aid in digestion, but sometimes lead fishing weights get mixed in. Just one can kill them due to lead poisoning. Give non-toxic alternative sinkers like tungsten a try!
