I took this photo while on vacation in June 2025 while visiting South Dakota with my mom and sister after we came back from Montana. We were driving on the Badlands Loop Road around early evening and had just gotten into the park when we saw this bison approaching. He stood perfectly and almost seemed to pose just as I took my camera out.
