Post Creek Guard Station is a neat place for a lot of reasons. I love the history of the building (built in 1934, currently a well-cared-for USFS rental) and the land (particularly the way one can see the ongoing recovery from the fires of a few years ago. It feels like a spot outside of time, where past and future feel very present.
