A little turtle taking in the morning sun while allowing me to take its photo. It was a really hot and humid June morning at Pocosin National Wildlife Refuge in North Carolina. Most of the bigger animals such as bears and Red Wolves were already hiding from the intense heat but this little turtle was busy soaking up the rays.
